Nothing like a good gaming sesh in the heat of summer. You can protect yourself from the heat, inside with the air conditioning and the good snacks. Even if summer used to mean hours and hours of unfettered free time, and now means life as usual but now it's hot outside, a nostalgic game can make you feel like a kid again. I remember playing round after round of Wii Tennis in my friend's basement in the summertime, trying so hard to get the ball to do that extra fast spinny thing every time. And spending so much time trying to conjure a dead spirit in the Sims. Ah, the dog days of summer when you're young.
But I bet I'd still get that feeling if I dusted off and fired up that old Wii Sports disc again. Or I could just look at these memes to remind me of all those who continue to game.
