As a wise Australian icon once said, "Shining like a supernova, brightest of the stars from another galaxy like Jupiter and Mars.' Some believe that Kylie Minogue was merely referring to cosmic phenomena in her hit song Supernova, but it's obvious to anyone who's listened to it that she's using the bright star as a metaphor for a lover in her life. We call people, animals, and even unremarkable nobodies "stars," whether they are actual stars of stage, screen, or otherwise. A star to you might not be a star to me, and vice versa! I wouldn't expect everyone to regard Santino Rice as the problematic but iconic superstar I've always seen him as. As far as I'm concerned, you don't even need to be a person to be a star. You can be a picture with words that communicates a comedic idea, also known as a hilarious meme.
