Most of us are familiar with the afternoon slump. It's after lunch, food sits heavy in your belly, and you're ready for a nap. But, oops! You have at least 4 more hours of work to do. That's when most of us reach for some sneaky caffeine. My preferred afternoon method is a cold, crisp Coke Zero. It does the trick without making you too jittery. You could also be proactive and pack something nutrient-dense and energizing for lunch instead of copping Little Caesar's for the third time this week. But who wants to do that?
