I wish I knew more about world history, but alas, I went to an American public high school. One of the biggest issues with schools in America is that they teach American history nearly every year, leaving crumbs for kids who want to learn about the history of the world and world geography. I know where the 50 states are by heart, but God forbid I get stopped on the street and get asked a world geography question by a TikToker because, in that case, I'm toast. My school district even went so far as to spend two years teaching us the history of Texas. My whole 7th grade year was spent in Texas History class, and I don't remember anything except that Texas was its own country from 1836 to 1845. I'm sorry to say that knowing about the Texas Revolution won't help me or you understand any of these rad history memes, so I hope you studied the right materials.
