Coming from someone who used to boil all her water in the microwave, electric kettles are amazing. They take mere minutes to come to temperature and you can use them for pour-over coffee, tea, instant soups, or as a great great indoor plant watering can (unheated, of course). Instant Pot Pro​

That’s right, the Instant Pot is still around. Frankly, with deals like this, I understand why. It’s a 10-in-one multi-cooker, that allows you to steam, slow cook, pressure cook, and apparently make yogurt, among other things. My friends and I made a mean beef ramen in an Instant Pot.
